What is ShoCast?
What is ShoCast?
Broadcasting on Shovio is for everyone! For the first time in history, everyone will be given the tools that were saved for a select few. Have you always wondered how it would feel to have your own talk show? Now you can have one, too! Anyone with the aspiration to be a broadcaster will be able to use Shovio to broadcast to thousands of listeners while interacting with them live by taking video calls, showing pictures and playing video clips during the show. You most likely have everything you need to start at home. You will need a computer, an Internet connection, webcam, headphones and mic or headsets. You will be in control of your ShoCast and be able to ShoCast with the click of a button!
Who is a ShoCaster?
A ShoCaster is anyone who uses the Shovio technology for a live two-way broadcasting. That means not only are you broadcasting to an audience, but the audience can participate in your broadcast by beaming onto your program with their comments, questions, and concerns, while the viewers are watching the interaction. To be fully prepared for your on-air debut, a ShoCaster should organize an episode in which they would like to broadcast; collecting a few articles to talk about, uploading clips and pictures to entertain their viewers, and compile a list questions to ask their audience, giving them the opportunity to call in and participate. You can talk about anything (keep the Community Guildlines in mind)! Do a little research, gathering surverys, lists, and information that would intrigue your audience. Keep in mind that your broadcast will be an hour minimally, so make sure you have enough to talk about.

Who is going to watch my ShoCast?
It is up to you to advertise your ShoCast. Utilize the common social networks, such as Twitter, Facebook, My Space, and your own blog to make it easy to let your viewers know when your ShoCast will air on Shovio. Direct them to the website and have your friends register! Word of mouth is the best way to gain an audience and once you air your broadcasts regularly, people will know exactly when you'll be on to catch your ShoCast. Also, your friends or fans on the Shovio community will be able to receive your Shovs; just another way you can send information to your viewers, such as upcoming ShoCasts, celebrity guests, or just another important moment in your life.
