Shovio's Terminology
Shovio - Imagine Talk Back TV. Shovio is the first live, two-way broadcasting network. The show hosts communicate live with their audience using audio and video and the two-way interaction is seen by millions of viewers. Shovio encourages host-to-viewer, viewer-to-host and viewer-to-viewer interaction, empowering a much more engaging experience for everyone involved.
Two-way broadcasting- instead of using the word "interactive" that is used for media stream or video call with global chat, we use "two-way broadcasting" (one-to-many and many-to-one) to describe how people will interact with media using Shovio.

Shovio station – Shovio station airs live two-way broadcasts from a specific geographic area.
Professionals - our hosts are the Professionals. The Shovio hosts are established professionals from the TV or Radio industries with their own fan-following. Professional broadcast - is a show hosted by our professionals.
ShoCast - because Shovio revolutionizes forms of broadcasting and makes podcasting obsolete, we call live interactive shows broadcasted by any one of you, Shovio members, a ShoCast.
ShoCaster - is anyone who is a member of Shovio and who uses Shovio technology for live two-way broadcasting.
Business Broadcast - This is what we call a broadcast initiated by a business or organization.
Private business broadcast- This is a broadcast that is streamed on the player embedded in a third party's website. This function is selected by the business/org owner of the show.
Public business broadcast- This is a broadcast streamed on both the third party's embedded player and on the Shovio website for anyone to see. This function is selected by the business/org owner of the show.
Member - A registered user. As member you have the option to participate in ShoCaster, however, it is not required.
Viewer – a member watching Shovio live interactive broadcasts.
Shovs - Shovs are logs of important moments in your life, business events or anything worthy of recording. Shov can be video, voice or text. You have to login to record your Shov.
Shovio Voice - A web-based communicator that allows you to make video and voice calls, IM, SMS, along with Shovio’s unique two-way communication activities directly from the Shovio website or your desktop without downloading anything.
